Hi, I’m Michelle, the founder of Refined Beauty! My passion for beauty started young, and after high school, I began my career as a makeup artist, where I fell in love with brows. I attended Paul Mitchell, earned my cosmetology license, and have been in the industry since 2020.I specialize in brow laminations, shaping, and makeup, with a focus on enhancing natural beauty through a luxury, customized experience. At Refined Beauty, I believe self-care is self-love, and my goal is to help every client feel confident and empowered.
Beyond beauty, I’m a wife and mom of two, balancing family life with my passion for all things glam. I can’t wait to have you in my chair and bring your beauty vision to life!

Melina also brings her artistry to special moments as an elopement bridal makeup and hairstylist, serving Santa Barbara and beyond with timeless, refined beauty.

To secure your appointment, a non-refundable deposit is required for all new clients at the time of booking. This deposit is applied toward the total cost of your service and helps reserve your spot on the schedule. Please note that your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations or no-shows. This policy is in place to protect the time and preparation set aside for each client. Thank you for understanding and respecting our time!

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a 100% charge of the service fee. If you wake up feeling unwell, please notify your service provider at least 3 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged in full. Your health and the health of others is important, so open communication is appreciated.
No-shows—appointments that are missed without any prior notice—will be charged 100% of the service fee and may be required to prepay for any future bookings. This policy ensures that time, resources, and availability are respected for both the service provider and other clients.

Please aim to arrive on time for your appointment to ensure you receive the full service experience. Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in your appointment being rescheduled and a 50% late fee being charged. If I am still able to accommodate you, please note that your service time may be shortened out of respect for the next scheduled client. Consistent punctuality helps keep everything running smoothly and ensures the best possible results for your service.
